Kristopher McLucas, LCSW, has worked with survivors of trauma for the past 13 years. Currently, Kristopher McLucas is the Clinical Director at the YWCA Greater Los Angeles (GLA) and he oversees the Ujima Project- a program that provides case management services and direct financial assistance to Black/African American people that live in Greater South Los Angeles and have been impacted by COVID-19. Kristopher also oversees the implementation of clinical services within the Empowerment Services Department at the YWCA GLA.

In addition to his work with the YWCA GLA, Kristopher has consulted on projects with Friends Outside in Los Angeles County (FOLA), Southern California Crossroads, and the City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services. These consulting projects have focused on client engagement; trauma-informed case management, staff-supervision, and staff wellness; best practices to support father engagement, and several other topics. As a result of his work, Kristopher was invited to present at a gang conference and provide training to first responders in San Salvador, El Salvador. Additionally, Kristopher is an Adjunct Professor at the Smith College, School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts.
