Dr. Watts is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics at Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her pediatric residency and general academic pediatric fellowship at Brown University. Her primary role is seeing patients and precepting residents and medical students at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital Primary Care clinic in Providence, RI. She also serves as a Co-Director for the Global Health Scholarly Concentration at Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her areas of research include refugee health, interpreter use and language barriers in primary care settings, social determinants of health, and part-time workforce issues in academic medicine.
