Daniel Kwon is a Head and Neck Cancer surgeon specializing in Thyroid and Parathyroid surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. Practicing at the Keck Medical Center of USC, he co-directs the USC Thyroid Center and is a member of the Thyroid Cancer Program at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

As the Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the Department of Otolaryngology and a Diversity Champion collaborator within the School of Medicine, he works with colleagues to expand health equity work within the department as well as institutional-wide. He is also a member of the Diversity Committee and Women in Head and Neck Surgery Committee in the American Head and Neck Society.
