Carina Spencer, MD

Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, Carina has spent time in Atlanta and Puerto Rico, and currently lives in Boston. She completed her medical education in Ponce, Puerto Rico and subsequently moved to Boston to train in primary care at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following graduation, she joined MGH's Chelsea HealthCare Center where she is privileged to serve our patients with a great team focused on tackling health disparities. This year, Carina is very excited to be pursing training in leadership, healthcare management, and joining the 2020 CHA Health Equity Scholar cohort. When not in the hospital/office, pursuing training, or grounded by a pandemic, Carina enjoys traveling with her family.
