Alanna is a pediatric speech-language pathologist in home and community- based early intervention, providing treatment for young children with communication and feeding needs in New York City. Beginning this September, she will also be completing an internship at HIAS, a refugee resettlement organization in NYC. In 2018, Alanna completed her clinical fellowship at The Pennsylvania School for the Deaf-Early Childhood Center in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Alanna is in her third semester at City University of New York - School of Public Health and Health Policy, completing a graduate program in Global and Migrant Health Policy.

She is committed to helping diminish health disparities among migrants by contributing to sustainable program development that will allow hospitals and other healthcare organizations to provide long-term healthcare access both locally and nationally.
