Ariel Majidi, MD
Ariel Majidi is a chief medical resident for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) and a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School. She received her MD from Emory University School of Medicine in 2018 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at CHA in 2021. The driving force of Ariel’s career has been providing equitable primary care to underserved communities. Her particular areas of interest include trauma-informed care for immigrant and refugee populations and antiracism in medical education and leadership. She brings experience in immigrant and refugee health as an AmeriCorps member serving refugees at a federally-qualified health center in Pittsburgh, a medical student coordinator of a free clinic for immigrants, and a primary care resident at CHA, where she served a linguistically and ethnically diverse patient population and assisted in medical evaluations for asylum seekers. As a graduate of the Social Medicine and Research-Based Advocacy course, Ariel is excited to join the CHEEA faculty and empower learners to become “clinician-advocates” and agents of social change in their medical careers.
